The flat drive diaphragms deliver a clarity I've never heard before, and assembling the kit myself made me appreciate the engineering even more. Was nervous about the build, but the instructions were clear enough to get it right on the first try.

Putting this kit together was a rewarding challenge, and the result is a pair of headphones with that signature RP driver clarity I was hoping for. The flat diaphragm really makes a difference in the soundstage depth—it feels much more open than my usual dynamic drivers.

Getting the RP diaphragm seated properly took a few tries, but once assembled, the clarity and speed of the soundstage are genuinely impressive for a DIY kit. My only small wish is that the included earpads were a touch plusher for longer listening sessions.
