Goldring 2200 Replacement Stylus

Installed this on my turntable and the highs are noticeably cleaner thanks to the elliptical diamond tip. The alumite cantilever seems to track warped records much better than the old spherical stylus I was using. Huge improvement in clarity for under fifty bucks.

Swapped out the old spherical stylus and the difference in clarity is immediate—that bonded elliptical diamond really digs into the groove. Transient response on cymbals and piano is noticeably snappier now, and installation took me all of two minutes.

The alumite cantilever feels noticeably sturdier than the old one it replaced, and the elliptical tip pulls out a lot more detail from the high end on my records. No more sibilance on vocals, and tracking through loud passages is dead quiet now.
