SME Model 12 Integrated Precision Turntable

I was nervous spending this much without hearing it first, but the precision build quality is obvious the moment you lift it out of the box. The advanced drive system keeps speed dead stable—piano recordings finally hold their pitch through long sustained notes. Worth the wait for the special order.

That drive system is something else—records start up instantly and stay dead quiet. I've had many turntables but this one just disappears and leaves the music. Worth the special order hassle.

After living with it for a month, the new drive system is the real story here — speed stays rock solid and piano notes hold pitch in a way my old deck never managed. Yes, it's a special order, so plan ahead, but the precision engineering is obvious the moment you cue up a record.
