Goldmund EIDOS Reference SACD Player

Having this player in my system for a few weeks now, and the sheer clarity on SACD layers is unreal — it pulled out instrumental details I'd never heard on familiar recordings. The fact it handles every disc format I throw at it is a huge bonus, no need for a separate transport.

I was skeptical about the price until I heard how seamlessly it decodes both SACD and standard CD-RW discs, no juggling between players. The build feels like a solid slab of engineering, and my old DVD-Audio collection finally gets the attention it deserves.

The way it handles SACD layers is genuinely impressive—I heard details on familiar discs I’d never noticed before. The build quality is substantial too, which gives me confidence it’ll last.
