Clearaudio's Smart Stylus Force Gauge provides an easy, accurate, and inexpensive way to set up your cartridge accurately.

No AC power or batteries are required for this ingenious method. Boasting 1.5 g to 3.5 g accuracy, the Gauge works by measuring the 'flex' of your stylus when you set your tonearm down on top of the printed scale.

Riley ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised by how compact and solid this little gauge feels, and it reads within 0.1 grams right out of the box without needing any batteries.

Andrew Q. ★★★★★

Took me about two minutes to calibrate; the mechanical design is so straightforward that I had the tracking force set perfectly for my cartridge before the record even started spinning.

Victoria ★★★★★

Very easy to zero out and read — the mechanical spring is refreshingly simple compared to fiddling with digital gauges. It gave me a consistent 1.5 gram reading right out of the box, which was spot on.
