Schiit Urd CD Transport and Unison USB Hub

A CD Transport with a Twist
The Schiit Urd isn’t just a CD transport — it’s a digital hub designed for modern audio systems. Built around Schiit’s Unison USB™ technology, Urd combines the nostalgia of spinning Redbook CDs with the versatility of streaming from computers, tablets, or phones. It even works as a USB-to-SPDIF converter, giving you seamless compatibility with older DACs. If you’ve ever wanted one box to manage all your digital sources, Urd delivers with style and functionality.

Flexible Connections, Future-Proofed
Equipped with AES and coaxial SPDIF outputs, as well as a dedicated Unison USB output, Urd makes it easy to connect to virtually any DAC. Its two USB inputs allow you to switch between multiple sources without constantly swapping cables, whether it’s a high-end streamer, a laptop, or even your smartphone. With a simple front-panel interface and clear display icons, you’ll know exactly what’s connected, what’s playing, and where your audio is headed.

Designed for the Way You Listen
Urd brings back the tactile joy of handling discs while embracing today’s digital standards. Play your CDs, pause, skip tracks, or fast-forward with familiar controls — and enjoy the sound through your DAC of choice. Unlike SACDs or burned MP3 discs, Urd stays true to Redbook audio, focusing on quality playback and reliable performance. Whether you’re rediscovering your CD collection or tying multiple digital sources into one hub, the Schiit Urd is designed to simplify your setup and elevate your listening experience.
