Clearaudio Artist V2 Cartridge

Right out of the box, the V2’s tracking on complex passages is noticeably cleaner than my previous cartridge. The ebony body really seems to tame unwanted resonance, keeping the soundstage stable even at higher volumes.

The ebony body feels incredibly dense and inert when I handle it, which seems to translate directly into a much more solid, focused soundstage. My old records have never sounded this three-dimensional, with bass lines that are tight and textured rather than just thumping along.

I was blown away by how quiet the background is—that ebony body really does its job. The detail retrieval on complex tracks like classical symphonies is uncanny for an MM cartridge.
